- The USS Tsunami is a Science Fiction/Fantasy Social Club with a Star Trek Flavor. We are independent of all formal Star Trek groups but have affiliations with many of them and encourage people to participate in them. Our interests and lives are as diverse as anything Spock and the Vulcan philosophy of IDIC can imagine. Our focus is creativity, service and having a lot of fun in the realms of Science Fiction, Sword and Sorcery, Hard Sciences, Myth and Legend and anything in between, in art, literature, music creative writing and more. Our Vessel for this focus is the Starship, Tsunami, an Intrepid Class ship full of surprises and differences like a ships witch and an XO the the planet where “A Piece of the Action” occurred. We are a NO DUES/pay as you go group. The Tsunami meets every Second Saturday of the month at the ‘Government’ Complex on the corner of State Street and 2100 S. (In the South Building). Meetings start at 6:30 pm or 7:00 pm. Please contact us before coming to make certain there are no ‘variations’ or ‘away activities’ scheduled. Contact us at usstsunami@gmail.com
We need to decide if we are going to keep the club going..any thoughts?? I suggest if nothing else we can go to every other month or figure a way to do this on line or on this site sharing stories and stuff..things sent to me can be posted here but I want to keep meeting as a group..
